while driving in afternoon traffic on the 605N my bike is running about 206 degrees (a little warmer than the normal 180-190, which is OK cuz it's hot out) and i'm in the carpool lane moving right along (85 or so) and my bike decides to die completely. so i make some superhero type moves over to the shoulder with the clutch pulled in and get stopped. i roll the bike back down the slight grade to the exit ramp and get off on to the local road.
i get the seat off and look at my fuses (remembering gearspeeds incident) and find that the main fuse is blown. easy enough, replace blown fuse, start up bike, let idle for a few minutes while putting gear back on, hop on bike to leave and it dies just as i get moving, almost drop it as it is unexpected and in the middle of a full lock turn. GAY.
so i call AAA and they say they will be there in 35 minutes or less, sounds good to me. gives me time to drink a cool, fresh coconut drink from the nice latino fellow selling them in the middle of the street.
35 minutes goes by and AAA calls back, "it will be 2-3 hours before we can get you because we didn't know that you needed a flat bed". i call BS on the girl and tell her to get one NOW! she does and it is there with in 20 minutes.
get the bike back to the shop and look it over. doesn't seem to be anything obvious, no shorts or loose connections, so i put a new fuse in again and start it up, drive around the lot a little and no problem.
are 929's cursed or don't they like hot weather?????
