Default A-Spec Racing Subframe Kit

I have been researching this kit on here all day and I still am not sure about something.

Is the only option for the EG a reinforcement plate? Only the EK has a kit that includes the 32mm bar?

Is this question THAT redundant that no one cares to answer?

The kit just includes the itr bar (and they really charge too much for the kit).
I fail to see why the eg cant use the bar if the eg and dc share the same chassis basis

Why risk the damage to the sub frame? The kit is what, another $140-$180 dollars. Think of how much you will spend if you dont go with the frame and you are wrong.

I cant speak for the brace itself, although it seems to get great reviews, but the kit itself doesnt seem to bad. Look up the price on an Acura parts dealer for the bar and all thats needed. It will probably be close to what they charge (I believe the kit is like 160 added on for the bar and all thats needed shipped)

Yes you can get the EG plate with 32mm bar, they just dont advertise it on their site. I have already asked Charleston about it.

No the price isnt shipped.
Im not saying skip the plate/brace - Im saying why cant the itr bar work on an eg. ASR already makes a plate for the two chassis.
A used itr bar can be had for like $60, endlinks for $50.

The ITR bar/endlinks/misc parts you need is arround $160 added on to the price of the brace, in the kit deal. Shipping shouldnt increase by much more, so thats about the price. If you can find ITR bar for under that price shipped (or pickup) then its worth it, if not, get the kit. I have not looked to hard for a rear ITR sway bar as Im not ready to add one yet, but I do see some floating arround, so your probably right about the kit being overpriced. I guess thats just what you pay for having someone do your shopping for you. I do know if you do a search about this subject you will find a thread with a few links to Acura parts dealers, where I believe you can save maybe 10-20 bucks buying the bar/endlinks yourself, have not looked to much into it though.

Im not sure I understand what you mean by why wont it work? It seems to me you think the bar wont actually work fitment wise. Ignoring the fact that some model egs didnt even come with a rear sway bar, it should fit fine if you have aftermarket LCA's or a model that did come with an oem rear sway bar. The brace is soley for reinforcing the frame. If im not understanding your question (and im sure there is a good chance of that ) just tell me. Im pretty thickheaded .

Im not asking a question.
The original poster is asking why there isnt an eg kit (bar, sway, etc).
I am pointing out that the eg civic and the integra share the same chassis, so the bar should work on the eg as it does on the ek (no fitment issues)

I already have this setup, and I know for a fact that you can get the parts cheaper (I saved probably $50 in the end). The plate also acts as a tie bar, too.

Ah, see I told you I was thickheaded
$50 cheaper seems a little much though, I assume what you bought was in your area?
