to many variables, i dont think there is a "best" compression.

Factors such as tuners, built block or not, type of turbo.

I went with 9:1 it depends on what kind of power and how you are going to tune it. Minimal tuning would be safe with 9:1.. the higher the compression the more tuning and timing adjustment will be needed standalone would be a must in that situation. I have the AEM EMS with wideband. RC 550's, DRAG turbo kit with tanabe racing medallion catback exhaust. ARI sleeves, Ferrea valvetrain, JE pistons, Eagle rods, ETC. I would one day like to hire MASE to tune my ride. I just know It has more potential than the minor tuning I have done to it. Good luck

im looking around 350whp if possible maybe more. I was thinking of using JE pistons and the ferrera valvetrain . does anybody know anyone who does a good P&P job?? has anyone seen a H22 pushing 350whp while being reliable??

It wouldnt be reliable IMO to have a 350whp boosted H22. You'd have to expect to rebuild every 20k miles. Expect the worse to happen.

It could be very reliable to have a BUILT h22 turbo. just make sure it's tuned very nicely and the driver isnt' an idiot.

i use mine as a daily driver and on my stock map its making over 350 and it is very dependable? Just cause you turbo a car doesnt make it undependable, yes there are more things you must keep in check but can still be reliable cars. See 1000hp supras driven daily

You won't see me doing it. (Forged pistons on FRM sleeves) But you never know who will. I think a few are doing it and I'm following up to see how long they last. That was the only reason I asked.

Thanks for the reply though.

How much boost are you running on what octane? - everytday street. and of course, what kind of power are you making? Hondata?
