OK, so what does it mean when you check the ECU for codes and it just stays lit constantly? I thought it might eventually flicker, but it stayed glowing *** red for like 2 minutes.

ooosh give another ECU a try that sounds like its bad

 

disconnect all ur sensors....disconnect ur battery/take out hazard fuse whichever.....now reconnect all ur sensors with the battery still disconnected....now reconnect ur battery and start the car....if this does not fix the problem its time for a new ecu
