OK, since neither y8 or z6 can be searched, i made a new thread. Any links to this info would be greatly appreciated

Anywho, a local is selling his y8 intake mani. Now i've heard a few other Z6 owners running these manis instead of their OEM one. So to my questions:
Does it really work?
Is the TB placement any different?(charge pipe is kinda hard to modify...)
Is it a direct replacement, i.e. i can use all my stock hoses and lines etc.?
And does $50 sound pretty good for a used one?

OK, after a lil websurfin on SOHCHonda and TurboD16....I've concluded that the y8mani is an upgrade from Z6

Now, i need people who have done the swap.
Was there alot of modification that needed to be done?
Did it change the location of your TB as far as charge pipe installation goes?
And does 50 sound about right for a used TB?
