Anyone missing an 2000 R from NY?
A kid here in VA just put a b18c5 in his 94 teg. It has a 62mm BBk throttle body, Aem Intake and a header. The swap had 19000miles on it according to the gauge cluster the purchaser saw. I have not seen the swap myself, but from what I understand the vin plates were removed. I will try to get more info. But let me know if anyone knows who's R this might be.

Theres a bunch that went missing.
One of the saddest was a 98 that got taken the evening after he met with our club the first time.
Try to get as much info as possible, like where he got it from and why the VIN was missing, and all. Contact Davidnyc here on HT, I think he has a list of the lost ones, at least he sees the shells from time to time on the boneyards near the city and has snapped PICS to see if we could identify.
Criminals SUCK!
Good luck,
A.

Just post the info here or send me an email ( cycldav@aol.com ). I will send the VIN# out to the NY area Type R owners.
Heres an Idea, If your on this board and you lost your car in that area
Give MikeK your VIN # (Hope Mike Doesn't mind) Mike said in another post that he can look up the Serial number (# Under B18C5) just by entering in the VIN in their computers.
Seeing as this guy most likely removed the VIN plate but left the serial # in tact. All you would need to do is take a look at this guys Serial # jot it down and see if it matches any of the ones that the guys on this board have.
