the oil pick up is going to be in the same place, right? so why would have you have to change dip sticks?

I had that problem to w/ my setup before. I just switch to the stock pan and ditch the moroso pan. It's a pain in the *** installing gasket as well, it keeps leaking.

How many quarts of oil did you put in? I just ordered this pan and am curious about it.

still your oil level has to be the same, you just add more oil than stock.

yep. add till its right on the dipstick.... since your oil level will still need to be the same as before most likely you will have to add more than 4.25 quarts

Doesn't matter how deep it is, the oil has to go up to the same place relative to the block/pickup.

I saw that post, but I was wondering about how many quarts Turbocivic94 was using. On Moroso's website the say the pan holds 5.5 quarts, not including the filter. So you may actually need to put 6 quarts in to fill it up.

Yeah, that's the one I ordered, through Ben at Importparts. He told me it was a 5.5 quart. I guess I'll just keep dumping oil into it until I get it to read on the dipstick. Thanks.
