RHD to convert or not???

Default RHD to convert or not???

I found a ek-4 complete car minus tranny,can i just throw my tranny and vin numbers and call it conversion? Or whats the best way to do this? The car was brouhgt to the us as parts with no title, but is complete. Also I live in New Mexico.

I tried searching,but no specific info.

Not really a conversion if you are not making a LHD car a RHD car. The car IS RHD. Not sure if you can make it leagl in any way. Give the local DMV a call and see what they say.

Call your DMV and see what happens.

sell it to a dealer as a parts car, and buy something else is my advice. otherwise youd have a RHD drive car and thatd suck. Keep the parts and get a regular car that you can actually drive normally.

Check this link, there are about 3 registration processes that you have to go through when importing a car for street use, and usually burns a hole in your pocket. If it was shipped for parts use it for parts, otherwise DPS/DOT is legally allowed to seize/destroy the car.
