New setup on my d16z6...now it won't start...HELP!
I didn't put this in Forced Induction forum because it's not really a turbo-related problem...
SO, finally got my turbo setup installed and the car started twice this morning just fine after I finished the install. Runs like ****, but that's to be expected without getting the fuel/timing tuned yet. Anywho...my problem is not with the turbo, it's with my car not starting now after it did this morning. I was throwing a CEL code 41 (O2 sensor heater wiring) when it was running, so I decided to recheck all my wiring, check for resistance/voltage on the sensor/wiring, etc. Then I decided to reset the ECU to clear the code before trying to start the car again. Well, got everything all hooked back up and the car WON'T START BACK UP!!! CEL code 41 is still there, except now the car won't run. It's getting fuel AND spark, and it cranks just fine...just won't fire.
Now, the O2 sensor I'm using is a BRAND NEW OEM HONDA 4-wire O2 sensor. Fresh outa the packaging. So, I don't know why I'm even getting this CEL in the first place.
Could the O2 sensor just be a dud? Would that cause my car to just completely not start? I wouln't think so, but maybe someone disagrees? Any other ideas why the car won't start?
THANKS!
P.S.: the 4-wire O2 sensor I bought is new OEM Honda, but it's not for a d16z6, it's for an '04-'05 Civic. This shouldn't matter, though, right? It looks identical to my stock z6 one, plugs right into the harness on the car, all wires line up fine, are the same color, etc.

OK so here's the update:
My d16z6 DEFINETLY 100% positive fo-sho has SPARK and FUEL. There are also NO bad fuses anywhere on the car. I double and triple checked all my wiring for the ignition, injectors, and O2 sensor. So, there are 4 main things I can think of at this point as to why my car isn't starting...anyone wanna comment on them...yay-or-nay style?
1.) The engine is flooded from my attempts at starting it. I sorta doubt this because I have (since it DID run) only attempted 3 times and havent pumped the gas pedal alot.
2.) The intercooler piping/intercooler/turbo are creating a blockage not allowing enough air for startup into the intake mani. Again, I sorta doubt this also because I doubt anyone with turbo setups has trouble getting air to their engine...it'd be funny to see people unhooking IC piping every time they started their car to get fresh air into it
3.) Main relay is dead. Some of my symptoms sound sort of related to this...plus it's hot out, and I heard Honda main relays like to die in the heat. My main relay has ~160k on it.
4.) The supposedly bad O2 sensor (CEL 41 is telling me this, haha) is keeping my car from starting. WTF...can a bad O2 sensor REALLY prevent a car from starting!?
Any takers on advice/troubleshooting?

Well, even though no one bothered to even pretend to care/give me any help whatsoever, I figured out what the problem was:
My BTM unit was bad. Bought it off eBay, and it turned out to be completely shot. So, I ordered a brand new one from Summit and my car fires right up
Boo to no help on here
Maybe this post can be helpful to someone down the road, though...hellooooooo archives
