Default ITR Idle too high

i have an 00' ITR the bottom end is built and it has I/H/E,whats weird it normally idles around 900-1000, but it seems that after vtec has engaged it starts to idle between 1500-2000, and vtec is disengaged but its fine after its turned off and turned back on..weird, i think it has somthin to do with the iacv but no thrown codes

ok so on a cold start idles at 1400 till its partially warmed up and kicks down too 900, normal like it is supposed to. So after you start driving it and once vtec kicks in, Ill let it go to idle i.e. when clutch is depressed or stopped at a light it will idle at 1500-2000. But if i turn the car off and restart it, it idles normal again. I believe it might be somthin with the idle air control valve?? explained any better??

thats strange? Do you have the AC on? That'll force a higher rev.

Ok, does the idle eventually drop? I know my car idles between 800-1000, when I come to a stop it idles alittle higher but goes back down after a couple of seconds.

well it turns out the douche bag i got the car from took out the bulb for the CEL light, **** pisses me off, but for what i paid for it, any ways now its throwin a code 7 TPS low or high input voltage, 54 CKF no sensor signal, and a 9 no signal cylinder position sensor. Im guessin the TPS is my problem, where is the CKF located??

I know you're looking for help but bumping is not allowed in this forum, let alone bumping your post twice.

Best of luck solving your problem.

If you don't get an answer by the time I get home I'll flip through my Helm's, but that won't be till almost midnight.
