4-2-1 DC header would probably be best. What type of set-up are you looking at in the future?

We would need more info on what your future or permanent setup would be.

If you want something with the most power, you would probably have to go with something custom...smsp or hytech. If you want something with good power off the self...there are toda, mugen, spoon etc. If you want something cheap, with decent power, you can go with a dc jdm header. But it all depends on what your future setup would look like.

for the money, i would say megan racing ss 4-1.
but it really all comes down to what you want.
i assume it's your daily driver, so i wouldn't bother with anything too "special" (read: expensive).

i also have a 94 GSR with a CAI that is my daily driver & will not be turbo'd. Keeping the rest of the exhaust stock, what sort of gains (if any) can you expect from an aftermarket header? With this set up, would there be a noticable difference between 4-2-1 and 4-1? . . . I mostly just want to get rid of the rattle at 3200

if you're not going to upgrade your exhaust along with it, expect gains to be approximately zero.

For max performance:

Header tech
Hytech
Hookups

Eventually you'll mind the money due to bad mpg, But if you want something thats worth your hard work these are the headers you want to get, They look bad *** and give max. power gains. (Ohh ya these arent your normal every day headers BTW, Track use specific).

For daily drivin:

JDM 4-1

Personally I would get jdm 4-1 because of the good price and moderate gains.

JDM 4-1 is a great header for all around: power, stock with heatsheild, clearence and good quality OEM.

JDM **** header is OK for money, just got one for Race car.....since i know it will get hit sometime and don't want to spend 1,000 on a header.

get a jdm 4-1 with skid plate along with matching cat or a test pipe tapered down to the size of whatever exhaust you have (if you don't want to get new exhaust).
