Default more downforce please!

Okay, I´ve this spoiler for rear downforce.

.....and the two little wings (on the left to the spoiler in the pic) for the front.

How can I make more downforce to the USDM front? Some universal carbon lip?

I guess I´ve to tune my car in the windchannel too

Please tell me some good ideas.

that wing seems awfully extreme for a fwd car. just out of curiousity, why do you feel that you need such a drastic increase in downforce? in response to your question, i universal front splitter would probably be best for front-end downforce. it doesn't necessarily have to be made out of carbon--any lightweight material would work--just make sure you continue it to the end of the engine compartment/beginning of the tub for the maximum effect. if you do this, you're essentially making your car a flatbottom car.

Engine is complete somewhere in 3 weeks and the spoiler comes on in about 6 weeks.

I like this rear wing soo much, I want to put it on for looks, but I guess when I have to much angle for the downforce, the wing will pull up the cars front at high speeds.

BTW: The wing is adjustable

In 6 weeks I get my Volk te37 in 16x8inch and the WingsWest kit (decent looking one)

A vented Imoto carbon fiber hood is coming somewhere in summer. Imagine my CW ITR + Volks in white + carbon wing and hood + the little wings in front in black. I think it looks awesome.

i agree that it's a good looking wing. i don't think having too much of an angle will actually pull up the car's front...but it will produce a high amount of drag that will really slow you down.

I will produce about 350hp with my turbo setup (9.1:1 cr JE pistons, rods, stuff). I guess I´m able to speed this car up wherever I want without feel the wings drag.

that's true...i was just pointing out that it might be noticeable in extremely high-speed situations. i wish my car could produce that much power. instead of having my speed limited by drag, it's limited by $$$.

Okay, why the hell is the stock ITR wing supposed to give 30% downforce? Honda-enineers have put that wing on the car for some reason. You need downforce in the curves even with a fwd car.

DOH, I drive 100+ mph every day and 130+ mph once per week. We have speed limits to, but I don´t care. ......and our European Autobahns (especialy German) are speedways so I care about paristic DRAG and downforce.

Hell, fast cornering with 70+ mph is alot of fun!

Actually a correct rear wing mated with the correct front splitter/spoiler will create a balanced downforce on the front and rear of the car. If done correctly, no more drag will be created and just downforce, therefore higher cornering speeds should be attainable without much reduction of overall straightline top speed.

The Speedvision....errr Speed Channel (God, I hate that name) touring cars use a correct setup-> Angled rear wing with bigger front splitter/spoiler.
