Default Proper radiator fan operation, 94 H22A1 Prelude

The radiator fan on my '94 prelude doesn't turn on at all while the engine is running or while the key is in the 'on' position. If I turn it to accessory, the fan turns on (when the motor is at operating temperature or higher). From what i've read in the FSM (not very much)...it seems my radiator fan control module is faulty. Does anybody have any insight into this?

I'm guessing that the radiator fan IS supposed to turn on, right?

My car is the exact same way, the fan will never come on. My car stays at Normal temp the whole time. But when I turn on the a/c the fac works. The thermostat is good. I was thinking the fuse may be faulty or the switch also.

Next to your ECU is a small black box that is the fan control unit for the radiator fan(s) I replaced mine due to the exact same problem but that did not solve the issue. I also replaced the ECT sensors... still no luck. I have never overheated but I would like to solve the problem as well.... Check your grounds would be the next best thing. I changed all of mine to 8 guage ground wire and completely sanded down to bare metal on all of my grounds. Good Luck

My car frequently overheats due to a crack in the radiator. I'm just looking at a way to help prevent it from happening. If anything, I'll just wire up an extra switch on the radiator fan so it always runs while the car is on.
