Default Went to the track last nite!!

Went down to Union Grove Greatlakes Dragaway last nite. There were a good amount of cars both import and domestic. Well my best run of the nite was a 15.258 vs. a 99 honda civic si that ran a 15.56. Oh yea i have a 91 integra gs pushing 200,000 miles with just intake and header back exhaust. And im gutted in the trunk. Was just wondering what u guys think and how can i maybe break into the 14's?

hello, so you want to break 14's try putting ona aftermaket intake manifold thats a bolt on and not to hard to do if you know what your doing. you could try get a different trany. if you want cause i got a type R trany in my GSR and I run 14.5 in the quarter mile so try that maybe or cam gears if you want too. fule rail with fuel injectors, and try ecu work too thats some stuff you can try good luck man and good time too.

there is absolutly no need to upgrade to a aftermarket fuel rail!

he also does not need injectors!

after market intake such as the skunk2 wouldnt help him that much, if not hurt him! He doesnt have any reason to upgrade to a different IM.

ECU Work?

with that much miles, you might want to do a rebuild probably wont last too long, even if you add bolt ons and such, if not then just throw in a "vtech" motor

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. A new clutch would help me, and a swap or rebuild is probably gonna be needed, because its blowing some blue smoke. The next day I learned what power shifting is (not letting off the gas while shifting) not sure if that would of helped or not. And lastly my car shoots fire out of the exhuast sometimes, anyone know what that could be?

Is my motor a freak or what?
EDIT: Would motor mount inserts help lower my ET any?
TIA

fire from exhaust? lol un-burned fuel.

throw a cold air intake on there.. When i took out my cai and put on my short ram, i had such a loss in gain. It was a noticable amount too.. but i wasnt using a heatshield or anything..
