civic engine question
me and my gfs cuzin were debating that a civic had a v-6 at the time im thinkin the v-6 has a v shaped block and that its used mostly on rwd cars, but a couple days later a saw an accord that had a v-6 logo im not into honda much, but i kno wat civic engine look like i kno sohc, dohc and v tec and all that, and the v-6 also stands for 6 valves so im wondering do civics have v-6s i dont think they do and im pretty sure they dont but im wondering
No. 4 cylinder, and V-6 does not stand for 6 valves.
And 6 cylinders do not have to be in a V shape, they could be inline, like my friend's BMW.
edit: BTW, your friend is a moron. Go find a civic, pop the hood, and count the number of pipes coming out of the motor into the header. And then scream "VTEK ownz joo!" and punch your friend in the nuts.

You need to do some more research also. You are lost, completely.
No, Civic DO NOT come with a V6 from factory.
No, 6 valves DOES NOT mean V6.

You and your g/f's cousin need to gain some knowledge before you speak.
