well, for one thing, get a new clutch, i got my ecu chipped from PYR racing in texas, and that took just about a second off my car with just basic mods on my car, that and maybe advance your timing, and ppull your power steering belt off, it should be close!!!!

gut out your whole car, advance timing, take out your cruise control and a/c. and get your ecu rechipped to raise your rev limit, boost fuel, and vtec

How about slicks and a chip. That should do it.

You could replace your tranny with a SI one and get some slicks and run lo 15 to 14's.

Start off with some good *** weight reduction. Then start to save up and go ls/vtec, i think its the best thing you can do with your ls. Just get a b16 head for 450-500 and there ya go.

start the quarter mile ten cars in that should give you the 14.9 you are looking for, you are asking for alot without giving anything here, options are limitless and you need a combination of parts not one single part as you refuse to use NOS and have it all over with, so go IHE, put car on amssive diet, interior stereo, front rear rebar, all accesories, swap in manual rack steering, take out ac from under dash, etc, deck the head for 50 bucks to increase compression, get a chip and you should be there.

agreed. Lose 300lbs. on total weight and get some slicks.

Or throw the motor in a hatch. That'll be more than a full second off..

to run 14s in an LS you'll need crower 403/404s, high compression pistons, better clutch and flywheel along with your basic bolt ons. its a very attainable time. gutting out your car helps too, its basically like free mods. im on my way to the 14sec club, but i still gotta get past the 15sec hahahahah

some are scared by nitrous and just can't afford turbo/sc..

already said in so many words -- get a GSR or SI trans, a new clutch for it and run slicks.. This is like $1500 in mods, but will always be there for whatever road you want to go down, and it's worth every fkn penny..

or spend $800 on a nitrous kit and safety accessories..
