Default CRX safety

im owndering from guys who own CRXs....how safe would u rate them from 1-5? I love CRXs, i love the big motor small car concept...but im sorta worried about safety. a car so small and so light....i live in sacramento, and theres tons of drunk drivres / dumb blondes / cell phone drivers so safety is a big issue for me

i got T-boned in my first 88 crx dx and that thing held together way better than that bitches' focus she totalled my car, but i only had minor cuts to the back of my arm and some bruises...but her *** went to the hospital. But of course u always have to wear ur seatbelt, cause they do really save lives! and be aware of whats going on around u as much as possible.

my 88 Si was Tboned by a V6 camry at 45mph... i was a bone head with no seat belt... i lived... both cars were totaled. i just had a bump on my head...

i was rear ended in my 1990 and out under a ford explorer... the insurance company kinda repaired the car but she runs, is fun, and still looks beautiful after some aditional work by me.

i hit a acura tl doing 35 without a chance to hit my breaks. he pulled out in front of me and i hit him just behind his front tire. all i had to do was pull my fender out a little and i drove it home, he on the other hand, had more damage. only thing i had to replace was a fender, and hood, (poly urethane bumbers rock)

If you want a safer car get something with an air bag...

CRX's are not the safest car...

The safety standards rise as the years go by...

35 mph crashes are ok, but if you've ever seen pics of a crx after a 45+ rear end or any sort of roll, the car is f*$#ed.
