I got gsr with about 87K miles and everytime I start my car in the morning or if its been sitting there for like 30 mins atleast, at start up it makes this viberating noise for like maybe 4 to 5 secs depending how long car been sitting. But no lights on dash or anything. I was thinking if the moter went out on the ABS, since its known to go out eaisly on 94 to 97 models. Any ideas?? or do you guys know if any way possible to see if its bad?

 

Sorry, but it could be alot of things. Doesnt sound like it would be ABS related to me anyways.

So you start it , and it immediately starts making this noise? Did you go and pinpoint where it is coming from(the general area)? Does it do it more or less when the car is cold(morning) or when it has just sat for 30 mins?

Give us a LONG description, lots of times/sounds/details... so we can think instead of guess.

 

are you sure it couldnt be the power steering? I know sometimes my car makes a vibrating type sound and all it is is the power steering crap or whatever it is.

 

have someone to look at the engine bay when u turn it on, see where the vibration is coming from.
