Default D16y8 SOHC all mtr best CAMSHAFT?

i have a stock d16y8 with i/h/e and about to install some itb's. Just wanted to know which camshaft will be best for my application. This is kind of my daily driver so i need a cam that idles around stock. Any help would be appreciated.

No you wont have to if your just putting the cam in and not changing the redline. If your wanting to up the redline at least get some better retainers and springs. Talk to someone at zex. Their customer service is really good.

The blox racing D16Y8 Stage 2 series camshaft makes awesome power on a fairly stock motor! They are also offered in Stage 3 series however does not hold a stock like idle unlike the Stage 2's. With proper tuning and the combination of a i/h/e gains anywhere from 8-10 whp can be realized. Good luck with your choice and PM me if you have any questions regarding this or any other product that you may be interested in. Thanks.
