fuel cutoff question yeah ive done tons of searching just a stupid question
ive done alot of searching on doing a fuel cut off switch
i know just to cut the yellow/grn wire, the thicker one cuase theres two of them i heard and the thinner one is the antenna lol antenna cut off switch.
anyways im planning on doing this and the hood cable relocation this weekend
question if the wiring goes thru the driver side door so its right under the sill plate cover correct?
couldnt i just splice the fuel pump from there instead of taking my seats out?
the damn top 25 cars stolen link and almost all integra model years are on that damn list, yeah i know integras are always stolen be4 this list but now i need to stop being lazy and do these things.
i just have a alarm and imobilizer :/ imobilizer doenst do **** just push the car and kick the clutch

responses like this are retarded. why dont you just give them the keys.
anyway, yes, you can just splice into the fuel pump wiring. a simple SPST switch will do nicely.

lmfao we all know that a thief can take it if they want.
anyways i know u can splice into the fuel pump wiring but u CAN get thru the wire thru the door sill plate right? instead of taking out the rear seats?

well the wires are all wrapped up inside a plastic tubing so if you were to get it thru the door sill then u would have to cut open the tubes and find out which tube has the yellow/green wire. For all that time you coulda took your rear seat out. All you need to take out is the bottom part of the rear seat which is snap on and has 1 thing you slide out of a socket, no need to take the back parts of the seats, took me 10 seconds because all i had to do was unsnap the seats and it slid right out.
You can really splice it any where you want. I preferred to go the route of the back seat when I did the hatch, simply because it allowed me to place a switch somewhere that would not be easily found...yet was still within my reach. If you are going to do it from the door sill, then it sounds like you might be trying to place it under your seat or under the dash...one of the first places I would look.
But to answer your question...yes it does run along the door sill, but it's probably easier to access it from the back seat.
