Default quick kill switch question

i've been researching fuel pump kill switches and haven't seemed to find a definite answer so i'm curious as to what you guys are using. i need to know the amperage of the actual switch that you are using. should the amperage be the same as the circuit or should it be a certain amount higher? sorry for the noob question but i greatly appreciate any help you can offer me.
