Default Some question about my civic

Hey everyone, I had a few problems today with my car and figured I would ask if anyone had any ideas of what was wrong. Well today my car wouldnt start at all. It would turn over and over and over but wouldnt turn on like it usually does. The battery wasnt dead because it was clicking or not even turning over it just wouldnt complete the starting process.

Well someone mentioned some part inside the dash which is somehow connected to the fuel pump in some way, and mentioned how they go when its really hot, and especially in order civics, mine is a 94 with 155,000 miles. Well I turned the air on and let it maybe air out. After a few more attempts it turned over. This has never happened before and dont really know besides what the other person mentioned is wrong.

Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Gas pump? Something to those lines? I appreciate your time guys, thanx

Your starter might be going. If your car was just "clicking" your starter could have been stuck. . . just a thought.

what people are talking about is probably the main relay, which is under the drivers side dash right behind the hood release. but this was prone to happen in 4th gen civs, 88-91. the circuit board inside of the relay would dry out and crack not allowing electricity to flow. A few solders would fix this.

but I would check the main things before this, such as making sure you have spark in each cylinder. have someone try and turn it over while you hold each plug to the valve cover and see if it sparks. and then check for fuel. you can just do it the redneck way and smell inside the cylinder with the plug out.
and check timing

Thank you, so take my spark plug wires out and then hold them to the cover and have them turn the key and try to start it

If you try to start it over and over, while pushing the gas, you could flood the cylinders. I'm not saying you are, or did, just telling you. To fix that, remove all the plugs and crank the car. Any fuel thats in there will mist out of the spark plug holes. Seems like a ghetto way, but it works.
