Rotors/Pads Are on the way out

What do you guys suggest I replace them with? Car is a ej coupe with a LS swap. I might run the car at the road track next year so I'm thinking of going with something slotted or drilled and maybe a decent pad. Any suggestions? I'm not looking to break the bank at all on this so I've been half thinking of just going with regular pads and Brembo blanks. What does HT think?

brembo blanks do not cost twice as much. i cant remember the site but i've seen them go for 29 bucks each for the front and 22 for the rears.

Twice as much my ***. That $25 autozone rotor is "per rotor". Worth it if he plans on road racing like he says he will.

Cross drilled is only useful if you're looking to reduce unsprung mass at the expense of less braking ability.
If you want less pad float at high temps go with slotted. Slotted also reduces braking ability, but less than cross drilling because there's more disc material to make contact with the pad.
Personally, I'm dumping my slotted rotors for normal vented rotors. You can't easily resurface slotted rotors so if they get warped - they stay warped. I've heard of places that will turn them but I've never actually found one.

for the massive amounts of brake dust they produce
