Default Need expert opinion regarding pistons.

Here's the brief story. I ordered 11.5:1 pistons from a company. They turned around and sent me 10.5:1 compression pistons from another company without telling me.

Here is the question. How much of a difference would 11.5:1 over the 10.5:1 make power wise?

The other issue is sending them back and then having to go to another company and wait for the ones I want. What to do?

Since you are going to be all motor I would highly suggest not keeping the 10.5. If this is for a racecar you will definitely need more than 11.5 to be competitive. You may want to look into the range of 13-14.5 CR pistons.

3.5 to 4 percent in peak power per point of compression
