i gota type r in a hatch... vtec pops at 6k and my peak hp is at 8550rpm
so if i make vtec pop at 4.5 will i have better mid-range since it hits earlier... so peak hp might be at 7.5?? what im pretty much ask if i lowwer the enguagin point of vtec that will give me lowwer rev hp and later it kicks in i will have higher rpm power? correct?

What you dont want to do is have the vtec engage too early. Too early you will be below the operating range of the vtec lobe. So in essence you could actually lose power in the midrange. Honda sets the vtec point for a reason.
Your vtec lobe is not designed to provide power at that rpm. Your vtec lobe has its own power band and you will be engaging it too soon. So from 3-6k you will actually lose power.
