so i get in the car to drive to work. half way to work my car sounded diff, sounded like someone added a new exaust, i got out of the car and bam i saw this:



i was wondering if it ll be a good idea to be driving around on it still.

 

Thats not good, but it's not going to blow up the car. Just take it to a muffler shop soon to get it re-welded on.

 

you'll be fine driving around like that.

 

its fine. your car will just be very loud. that isnt worth rewelding....jsut get new mid pipe

 

i have a problem similar to that

i have about a 7inch hole rusted in my mid-pipe

its un godly loud and rattles like a b**** up to 3500rpm's

priced around for a mid pipe and they wanted more money that i thought was worth it, and a place wanted $90 to get a new pipe

so i settled for a cat-back

 

if i where you i would go get a SS exhaust system and then you wont have that problem,.... but if you dont want to spend that much just take a pop can and cut the top and bottom out and tape it on with some ductape!!!
