Resonator Pipe
Pretty much a noob at this kind of stuff, cars in general. So, my friend referred me to this website.
Question:
I have a resonator pipe that the back end had snapped off, that led towards the muffler.
So I went to my local auto parts store and picked up a new one, I have yet to try and put it on, with the help of a friend or two. But what I'm trying to figure out is, is the resonator pipe welded on to any part of the exhaust/catback/etc. I was wondering so I know what I'd be dealing with before I started to do any work..I've searched a few websites and took the time to even "google" it and search on here as well, with no luck to be had. Any help would be appreciated. Please remember I'm new to this whole car thing, I dont do much car work and know absolutley nothing about them as well.
Thanks,
NJJ
