Everyones talking smack about their car, so which one does Honda-tech prefer, EG civic or EG del sol vote and tell me why.

 

I saw some Del Sols following each other outside of HIN @ KC and I was quite impressed at what can be done with them. For me, Civics have a better looking body/shell than Del Sols...that's why I prefer Civics over Del Sols.

 

I voted Del Sol cause I love my cars like I love womans...topless

 

i drive a Del Sol, but i always want something i don't have. The reason why i keep my Sol is because its a little different from the rest where i live, and i'm the only boosted Sol, so i keep it.

 

EG Civic hatch'd .

There are more Civic EG's than there are Del Sols in the whole wide world... So H-T's majority vote will probably be the Civic EG, what smack is everyone talkin' about anyway?

BTW I voted Del Sol, only because I own one.

 

the del sol is heavy, and the hatch's are light as ****, the hatch has a back seat and cargo area, and if you want a sun-roof, you can get one on the si, i think the body of the civic is far better, a del sol with a carbon fiber trunk looks sick, but then you dont get the function of a spoiler, i am though a dude who like diversity, so one of my next cars will be a del sol just caz its different, but the civic is a better car

 

when you compare the base hatch to base Sol, or equal for the higher trim models, there isn't that much difference in weight.

 

Funny thing about that is that del sols only weigh 2522, and i dont really know how much the civics weigh but it cant be much less than that. Also the del sol has a much better sunroof than the civic

 

personally i feel like the eg civic is the best, i just like the way they look opposed to the del sol. ive always felt like the del sol was a girls car..... just my opinon though...

 

You guys need to do a search on the weight between a sol and civic...it's been discussed before and we all came to a conclusion that the sol is not that much heavier. If I am correct here are the weights of the sol's:

Del Sol S-2,2xx lbs
Del Sol SI-2,3xx lbs
Del Sol Vtec-2,4xx lbs


And the years does make a difference but not by much, now if I can find the charts I'll post it up.
