DA JDM corner light question
So there are 2 bulbs in the stock corner light and I can only use one of them, right??? I think one is for the turn single and one is for the parking lights, right?? Is so, does that mean I can only have a turn single light or parking light there, not both?? How do you properly wire up the corner lights so they come on when you turn your parking lights on and it also flashes when you use the turn single. Or can you even?? Let me know, I want to install my one pieces but this is confusing.
So its either one bulb or the other?? No way of combining the wires so one bulb could do both functions?? If so I think I'll just put the running light bulb in there and ditch the blinking turn signal. Then I'll get some JDM side markers for my turn signals.
Also, is there any problem with me ditching the connectors on the one pieces and just wiring everything up with female quick connects?? The connects on the headlights and foglights are waaaay to short and wont be able to be soldered. I pulled the wires out of the connects and realized they are just female quick connects inside. So is there any reason I shouldnt just ditch the connectors and solder some extension wires to some new female quick connects and just attatch them to there proper spot on the headlight and foglight??

wat u do is on both of those lights is u cut the wires long on both lights of each corner light then u figure out which ones are negative & positive put two neg & two pos together get long speaker wire to connect light wires to speaker wire then other end of speaker wire u put one wire to headlight and one wire to blinker on bumper this will allow the corner lights to stay on at all times but when u turn only the side that u are turning to will blink
if it dont work then switch the speaker wires on the headlight & blinker and try again
.....good luck

Here's the deal...you can only use ONE bulb. Turn your lights on and turn signals and see which one does which. It's either, PARKING light(always on w/headlights and no flash) or TURN SIGNAL(always on w/headlights and flash. Easiest way to answer you own question is to LOOK!!!

Your making this way harder then it needs to be.
1. Only one bulb can fit in the corner at a time; not both.
2. Out of the two bulbs you have, (WHEN THE LIGHTS ARE ON)one stays on all the time (Parking lights) and the other stays on all the time until you turn your signal on/off.
This is how I have it set up on my car.
-I have JDM fenders, there for I have side markers; I would rather people see my blinker on the side marker so I have the bulb that STAYS ON and BLINKS wired to the side marker
-The other bulb is in the headlight corner, when you turn the blinker on it doesnt blink; it doesnt do **** but stay on (AS LONG AS THE PARKING LIGHTS/LIGHTS are turned on)
This setup is 100% legal, and OEM in canada and japan for the jdm ****** out there.
Simple enough? Dont even ask for a video lol!
FYI: If you dont have side markers I would use the blinker bulb. Its always on when you just want to cruise with your parking lights on and will act as a blinker as well.
