LS VTECH
im going ls v, i wonder if its faster then a GSR with basic bolt ons, and how often should i do tune ups ( spark plugs etc ). + do i need to build my block or is going B16 head with ls block stock ls v safe ?
LsVetc in my opinion is more powerful the a GSR. I did a basic build for a customer: B16a head, LS block w/PR3 pistons. 13.80's with his regular daily driven tires, 13.40's w/Drag Radials, 13.00's with slicks. He ran a 12.38 with a 50 shot of nitrous (1.84)60ft.
lasvtec is alot of work and has to be done properly in order to last long so do a research and see what u gettin into with lsvtec
team-integra got alot of topics on that

dont wanna be mean or anything. but its LS VTEC not LS VTECH..
ur title is VTECH like the phone..
but anyways i think that ls/vtec would be faster than a gsr.. just make sure u build it strong

hahahahahahahaha. three in a row, you'd think that one noob would learn from the one before him
to original poster, just put a b16 block with a LS head, then youll beat dat VTAKK yO!!!!!! make sure you rev out to 9k+ rpms, v T ek kicks in at 8800 rpm yO!!!!!!
ps: just some sarcasm. you should really search for questions like this if you don't wanna get flamed.

im going with a jspec b16 head with ls block, ALL STOCK internals, juss gonna get a fuel pump and regulator, drill oil line, change oil pump. should be koo without changing pistons right? and "tcmotorsports" is that time for 1/4 or 1/8.

A well built ls/vtec can be faster than a GSR with bolts ons. But a GSR will run alot longer than your average ls/vtec. I can't sit here and go on and on about all the little quirks of ls/vtec, but if you don't do YOUR research and learn up, then you'll never be able to own a ls/vtec. If you just want a motor you can slap in and be fast, without having to know a whole lot, just buy a GSR swap. It'll be cheaper. To build an ls/vtec takes more than just slapping a vtec head on a ls block and calling it a day. Do it right the first time, or you'll pay for it the other times. And if you can't spell VTEC, nor know what it stands for, then you probably don't need it.
we'll SORRIE, thought that person didnt noe how to race or something with that time, or slow *** reaction time.. lol. juss makin sure. and ill be hitting "VTECHHHHHHHHH" lol

You cant rev to 9000 on a stock ls bottem end. Reinforce the bottem and endand you're good to go. Do it right the first time, or just get a turbo kit.

i wouldn't want to rev to 9k on a stock b16 head, either.
