(h23 in a sol)
i was driving, and all of a sudden it just started decelerating like i let off the gas. so i pull over pop the hood. fuel pressure is at like 15 psi. okay great. try listening to see if the fuel pump was priming. i dont think it was. but its sometimes hard to hear. i got it started. drove a while. then later i was hauling ***. took 1st to about 5800 then suddenly the car takes a nose dive like i quickly let off the gas but still in gear and this weird noise happened (sounded almost grinding like) but it still drove no problem (possibly just drop in fuel pressure? i think i know what the noise might have been though) get back to where i was. parked it.

i go out later to see if i can figure something out. started it up. revved it up to see if something would happen. to about 6k. it bogged out after that. couldnt hear the fuel pump. again. only like 15 psi. tried starting a few more times and eventually got it and drove home.....

what do you guys think.

Yes if you are bogging and and your fuel pressure is low it is very likely that your pump craped out on you.

 

it could be a lot of things... when was the last time you changed the fuel filter? do you have a aftermarket FPR?

very possible... fuel pressure is hella low.

 

i think the solder on the negative side of my kill switch poll broke off and it was a loose connection. which is why this was happening...i think.
