Default QUESTION about final drive gear prelude SH

Hi,
Not to knowledgable about final drive gears. From what ive heard there not bad BUT...
-I am looking at a Circuit Worxs 4.7 for a "USDM H22 Prelude transmission" Will this work with my 97' type SH??
-Does it matter if the car is boosted or not?
-If the switch was done, what top speed do you think I would have?

Is it worth the money/labor for a daily driven car?

Any additional imput would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

its about a 10% change in gearing, so each gear is going to max out at 10% less mph than it did before. IMO i wouldnt do it, 5gear already keeps the rev's pretty high when just cruising at 80.

the 4.7fd w/ boost would probably suck since traction is already an issue when boosting a fwd car, the FD is only gonna make it worse.

i wouldnt think there'd be a problem with putting it in a SH but I'd call the company to be sure.

So is it worth it? I'd say no, just because the Prelude has decent gearing as it is and has decent low end. In a car that has gearing thats more oriented toward gas savings and a smaller engine than I could justify it, like I did when I put a 4.7FD in my d16z6 tranny.

Hey thanks for the imput. I decided not to buy the part. Mainly do to the labor invloved and the money vs HP ratio. For the price of the gear i could of bought a full edelbrock NOS kit with the polished bottle
