Accord/Prelude compatability

Can an Accord Shifter and cables from a 95 accord fit into an 2001 Prelude? I'm doing a five speed conversion.

the 95 accord shifter + cables are the same as the 93-96 lude shifter + cables. The shifter assembly changed a little in 97+ ludes, but I don't know about the cables. Personally, I don't see why it wouldn't work, I just know that the shifter and shifter base is different from 5th gen to 4th gen.
