b20b, vtec head
Today i test drove a 90 crx, with b20 98 crv swap. 126@5400 rpm i beleive. Just wondering if i were to put a vtec head on it , would there be a noticable gain? Or should i forget the crv motor and go with a 1.8ls? Thanks in advaaaaaaaance.

dood, search, this is nothing new in HT and b20vtec goes through the same steps as LSvtec. If you cant find anything when you search post back up and i'll find you more than 20 threads.

No, the LS does not come with VTEC.
The LS motor is the EXACT same for all intents and purposes as a B20, the B20 just has a larger bore and weaker sleeves.
B20 Vtec is NOT a lot of work.
It can be done in an afternoon.
It can be done well in a day.
