You need to buy B-series mounts for your car.
You need to buy B-series mounts for your car.
a mount kit is needed pretty much for any swap unless you do it custom and then the motor will flex so a b18c5 would be hard because of your car obd0 and an itr motor above obd0 depending on what year the motor is it would either be obd1 or obd2...and unless you had a b series cable tranny there would be another problem you are running into.
but say I buy the motor from hmo It says it comes with mounts I have a d15b2 in my 88 crx dx right now how hard would the swap be to a b18c
You have to get Hasport mounts to fit the CRX. You also need to do some serious wiring, DPFI to MPFI to start out. You also need custom shift linkage. Theres alot of **** to consider with a B series swap, if its your first and your doing it yourself save yourself the hassle and drop in a ZC. i'm on my first swap, and trust me, the ZC is enough for the first time.
do some reading, lots of issues with going B. If you have power steering or need AC then stick with a D series or ZC swap. Otherwise you have to buy some custom brackets.
