b16a1 SiR, why the hell are there TWO 02 sensors on the manifold???!?
i just noticed the other day, that there are two 02 sensors right at the collector part of the stock SiR exhaust manifold. apparently, one hasn't been hooked up since i got the car, and it still gets good gas milage, so whats the deal?
am in the process of making a downpipe and need to know if i need two 02 bungs?
thanks.

no they are stock on the manifold like that. also, the two wires going to them have factory looking harnesses, i already thought if someone taped or added one, but i dont think that was possible. ill post pics.

that sounds right, it seemed like that was the case with two on the collector.
anyways, what happens when one isn't hooked up?
becuase i had one only hooked up for a while and it seems ok, and gas mileage is around 30 mpg highway.
bout 23 rippin' on it
thanks.

obd0 b16a1 has two o2 sensors... not sure what ECU you have (like asked above) but mine wouldn't allow me to drive the crx with only one o2 attached...
(EDM CRX 1.6i-VT... all of that bone stock from the factory)

You're talking about OBD2 ECUs - we're talking about OBD0 ECUs.
