msd ignition

Default msd ignition

i just recently aquired an msd 6200 6a spark multiplier it was given to me by a friend who had it on a v8 stang. is this part any good to me or should i sell it. also is there anyway of testing this unit before i install it on my car if possible.

It's not going to add any power if that's what your asking. I am still debating if I am going to install mine or not. Stock honda ignitions are fine unless your pushing some crazy HP. Though on my B16a motor I did notice a difference in throttle responce not a lot but it seemed to be more responsive. So I may install it on my H22a. Make sure you Cut the wires under the little black cover with the 1 screw. There are 2 wires you need to cut them inorder ot run on a 4 banger. You could sell it and put your money somewhere else If you go to MSD's website they give you step by step on how to test your unit.

Can I ask you something? Why did you buy it WITHOUT knowing if it fit on your 4-banger and if it will yield any power? Just pondering...
