Default Coilovers on stock struts

Hey guys! I've searched, but not really found out if I plan to perhaps lower on coilovers only about 1.5 inches maximum, will my stock struts blow no matter what or not? Thanks!

Ok, how about if I just get lowering springs, will those eventually blow my stock struts?

depends how low...most likely a drop 2" or more would....

i just installed my tein s-techs on my EK....stock struts up front, and KYB's in back....we will see how the struts hold up...ill let ya know!
