Oil light comes on even though enough oil is in the sump.

Oil light comes on even though enough oil is in the sump.
The oil level is fine but the light flickers on and off.
Can anyone tell me whats wrong and how to fix it please.

Whats the easiest way to check the pressure ?
Is there not something on the back of the block that a gauge can fit into ?
Car is a JDM EG6 SiR II by the way.

you can unplug the OEM oil pressure sender (if your standing inbetween the firewall and motor). It is about 1-2inches to the left (the pully side) of the oil filter. A napa 15 dollar oil pressure gauge should work fine if you dont want something to mount into your cabin.
