help please...oil problems and other shit thats driving me crazy
okay i finished my install yesturday and the car started up fine. its a stock gsr with custom t3t4 setup on crome...my buddy put a basemap on it and the car started up fine....took for a test drive and came back...i noticed there was some oil on my turbo between the hot housing and the mid section(where u clock it)...what can cause this?...do i have bad seals?...does bad seal relate to shaftplay because the turbo has absolutly no shaft play...the oil comes out really slow though and burns cause of heat...help me out guys this is my first time
another problem was the dayem autometer a/f gauge didnt seem to work...only one led lights up on the lean side and then when boost kicks one led lights up on the rich side...nothing is lighting up in the middle or at idle....its brand new too

for the oil...i think i was having the same problem while going up to the muffler shop. My feed line wasnt on that tight and it was leaking. Might want to check that.
For your air fuel gauge did you soder the wire to your O2 sensor?

hmm...so u found it leaking from your brass fitting on top of the turbo(feed)...let me make sure mine is on really tight...hopefully its not the turbo because i dont want to buy a new one...this one still looks hella clean with no shaft play...it spins fine at idle and was spoolin pretty good...
another problem i ran into was my return fitting(fasturbo) leaking from the two blue fittings...it was seeping though where the nut(twisting part) is on both ends...when u tighten down the ends all the way, should the line still be able to twist or would the tightening hold it in place?
fixed the autometer prob(i think)...my buddy hooked it up wrong, i just found that out when i looked into it right now...i hooked it up to d14(white/red) on p72...correct me if im wrong...i havent tried it yet though because still workin on problems

Autometer AF gauge isn't good for anything... do you have a wideband?
Don't boost on a base map!
Do you know what sort of fittings come with the fast-turbo kit? Are they swivel seal?

yea i pmed stan and got the info...they are swivel and should lock in place...i guess i have to go tighten mine up until they lock in place securely...rite now they move with little force...too broke to have a wb so having the autometer a/f is better then having nothing correct?...its not really a base map, its something modified a bit(not tuned)...my buddy was fiddling around with it to try to get the car idling with the rc550s...its idling fine rite now, we only took it around the block once, and only took it to like 2lbs of boost...came back and checked for leaks and thats when i saw the oil from the turbo(between the hot side and the midsection)....still not sure whats causing it
dustin: anyone in sac does street tuning? i dont want to drive it far...probably going to put in the fmu and stock injectors if i have to drive it somewhere
