i went to go get pads today but they gave me the wrong ones, so i want to a different auto parts store and they had the same ones so iam woundering if i have different calipers...? thanks.. i will post pic's of the wrong ones later, so if anyone has some pic's of there si brake pads that would help...thanks i know this isnt a pic of the pads but whatever
I don't have any pics, but I do know that 90-91 calipers are different (in the CRX si) than 88-89, so I am assuming the brake pads are different also, take them back to the store where you got them and tell them to give you the proper ones..

'90-91 CRX Si D373 pads are indeed supposed to have that little "tab" on each end. You probably keep receiving D273 pads for CRX/Civic DX/LX and Civic Si, which share a much more common caliper. The '90-91 CRX Si caliper is unique and takes a unique pad. Keep searching until you find the right pads. You could try a Honda dealership . . .
