hi... new here to this board..... my girlfriend has a 95 honda civic with the sohc 1.6l v-tech.... she broke down friday... got a tow truck and had it towed to the dealership i work at (chevy cadillac)... its got fuel but no spark... pulled the cap and it was green and fuzzy so i figured that was the problem.. new cap and rotor and still no spark... so any ideas? icm possibly or should i just hit up distributor king and get a whole new distributor? i would hate to shell out 175 bucks if that wasnt the problem but i also dont want to swap out tons of parts

check the coil.... mine went out like that... my friends went out the other day and bought a new ignition controll module and that didnt do it... i always say replace the coil.. its like 70 bucks tho

 

i was wondering if it wasnt that... i had a 92 that a buddy gave me because he couldnt get it to fire... swapped out the icm and still nothing... i wound up giving the car to another buddy before i tracked the problem down... i just dont want to keep throwing money at this thing trying to get it to fire... thanks for the advise
