Default cruise control not engaging

ok so this weekend i put in the hondata s200 system and got my car tuned. on the way to the place i was driving on cruise on my old p13 ecu. the shop that tuned my car also sold me the socketed p28 ecu but it came off of an automatic civic (my prelude is manual), but they said they redid everything and blah blah blah. ok so when i was driving home (everything was perfect no problem with manual shifting or anything) i pushed the set button on my cruise the indicator turned on but when i let go of the gas pedal my car just started to slow down i tried this acouple times and the same thing kept happening. i think it is because that ecu was for an automatic car and mine is a manual. if anyone has any advise please let me know and if anyone agrees with me about the automatic ecu thing let me know so i can call the shop and tell them to redo it thanks!

To start of simple, did you check the CC Fuse?

ok i just talked to the shop and this is what he said... that he used the vacuum port off of the manifold for the IAB system, as the ecu did not have a provision for IAB control. he says all i need to do is pick up a vacuum tee, and connect the line for the cruise to that port and it will work fine. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THIS PORT THING IS AT, WHERE THE LINE IS THAT I NEED TO TEE OFF, AND WHERE I CAN GET MYSELF A VACCUM TEE??

vacuum t can be found at any auto parts store for like a nickel, just make sure its the right size for your vacuum lines, also you could use any vacuum line for the t, u dont have the use the specific one designated for cc

monkey is right, you don't have to use a specific port, but personally, i would use the stock one.

on the driver's side of the intake manifold you'll see 2 vacuum ports close together, one on top of each other. use the bottom one . that's the stock port.
