LOWER BALLJOINT REMOVAL PICS
I replaced mine like 3 weeks ago.
- Remove the the LCA, Tie Rod, UCA, and brake line, Axle Nut.
- Remove the knuckle assembly.
- Remove a metal ring that goes around the inside of the hub that meets the axle.
- Look for a safety clip or something around the balljoint and remove it (dont even think it makes a difference)
- Hammer the balljoint from the thread portion up toward where the UCA would bolt up. Should pop right out.
To put the balljoint back in you can either hammer or borrow the tool from autozone which is like a press C-Clamp
