I dont drive the car EVERYDAY...
I was just wondering...Alot of times Saturday, and Sunday I'm not around town, and usually my car just sits. Is this bad for the car at all? My mechanic was saying to make sure I drive the car everyday. Just wondering if letting it sit 2 days in a row, does any damage, long term or short term? And what would it harm?
I mean I could have my brother drive it, but I dont really trust anyone driving the car its only a few inches off the ground and has a brand new front lip...Very easy to scrape if not careful.

just make sure that when you do drive it, drive it for more than just a couple miles. That way the car will have a chance to reach normal operating temp.

I let my 85 accord sit friday evening to monday morning every weekend. My 95 YJ sits for weeks at a time, sometimes a month before I even crank it much less drive it around. I've not replaced a battery in the jeep for 5 years. The killer of a battery is depth of discharge. How long do batteries sit at sears before someone buys them?
Oh yeah I forgot I can edit my own title! Yay!

The hell? No way, it's fine if the car sits for days at a time maybe even up to a week. It's natural. Not everyone drives their cars every day.
