Urgent help!!, Car pulls to the left hard.
Hi, basically when i drive, my car pulls to the left.
On the motorway above 80mph the car pulls to the left harder when I accelerate.
I thought it may be the diff as i have recentley installed a Secondhand Type R gearbox which has lsd but I put my car into nutural and roll, let go of the wheel and again it pulls to the left but not as hard as when you put power on. It does this on all surfaces.
I have checked all the suspension parts and it is all fine, my CV joint on the left side seems a little worn, when i did the gearbox work i checked it and it did not seem as free as the otherside.
The bearing on the right side is not as free as on the leftside but only slightly.
Did alignment and it is fine. Cambers are out as i have dropped it but this was done along time ago and it did not do it before.
Any one got any ideas on what may be the problem???

Three things come to mind
alignment check
tie rod check
axle check

how do you mean axle?
New tie rod end were changed on saturday and then got the car aligned.
Alignment: i am going to get checked 2mrw again
i have been abusing the car due to having the LSD and i think i may have excessive tyre wear on the left side as we go right around roundabout in the UK. i will also swap the front tyre to the back and vice versa. I will keep you posted

you could have a bad axle. It's potentially a reason why it my pull to one side. A good drive axle is moving one wheel, while the bad one doesn't do anything. Hence the feeling of torque steer in your instance.

...stuck guide pins causing the caliper to bind on that side are a possibility, it will make a car dive like a **** and you won't always feel it at the pedal.
check for stuck caliper. also bad caster and or camber will make a pull. negative camber that is worse on one side than the other will pull. too much positive camber will pull. also check your bearings. you said the right side did not seem to turn as freely. start there and get a good alignment and a good check out on the front end.

i could not giv an accurate answer for that, if i was to guess i would say they are about 5-6 degree out compared to the rears which are straight. i will ask the guy when i get alignment checked

i am going today to get tyres swapped and alignment checked. Alignment was done with manual gauges which are a bit old, i will get laser alignment done to make sure (£££££ arghhh)
tire pull i have that it's crazy because my camber is out but the car was suppose to pull a little to the right but it pulled hard left and put the front tires to the back and most of the pull went all so it was my tires could be the same for u

if caster is our more than 4-5 degrees from side to side it will pull

The only thing is that the cambers have been out for ages and it was never a problem before and it has only started when i switched my gearbox.
Havent had time to get alignment done and tyres swapped, but i can see the tyre wall as weakend (dark line round the edge) as i have been abusing the car turning right (UK roundabouts).

Ok heres the latest, swapped tyres around and it stopped pulling under acceleration but the car still veers to left when you let go of the wheel???? i will get alignment done 2mrw. I have been having trouble finding someone to do it as it is so low!!!!
to bad you don't live in Virginia, i'd do it for you
it sounds to me like your toe is out, or that your caster is off, like is aid more than 4 degrees from side to side, will make it pull like a bitch
only thing then is to find what is bent

alignment done and sorted, still takes you to the left a smidge, but i think that is the road surface so when you fall asleep at the wheels it takes you to the rippled white lines to wake you up (UK left hand side driving).
i will be buying adjustable camber arms asap to get the wheels totally on the straight and narrow
cheers for help
