Default LS/VTEC swap trouble !!!

i just swapped an lsvtec into a 90 dx hatch and it wont start. it had a runing d15 with an mpfi conversion so i know its not a problem with that. i did an obd1 conversion with a new conversion harness which i tested on another car and also a chipped ecu which was also tested and working. the dist. wiring is also right and the dist works, firing order is right. the injectors are also firing. all the grounds are hooked up and the wiring is all hooked up. the cam timing is perfect aswell as the valve adjustment. it has 38psi of fuel pressure and the main relay is fine aswell as the resistor box. all fuses are good. i checked everything! the only way we can get it to idle is by pouring a little fuel through the brake booster line or starting fluid, so i dont understand why it wont run just off the injectors????

What exactly does it do? Like if you were try to just get in without putting any fuel in the brake booster line or starting fluid, turn the key, what would it do? And when it does idle, how long will it stay w/o dying?

someone please correct me if im wrong but does obd-1 run an injector resistor box? sounds like it could be the problem...but then again im not 100% sure. You say it runs off of carb. or what not but it wont run regularly, so its most likely a fuels problem...just a suggestion...do a search to see if or what kind of resistor box needs to be ran...good luck, im still obd-0 ls/vtec so im gonna stay tuned into this to see what the fix is/whats needed for when i go obd-1...

impretty sure what whiteef8 said is your problem. obd-1 does not need teh resistor box. only obd0. so you need to either get rid of the resistor box and solder all those wires together or use your old 240 cc injectors and put them on the lsvtec.

you cant use obd0 injectors without a resistor box because you will fry them, but you can use the obd1 injec. with a resistor box. when we try to start it without starting fluid
it just turns over no poping no nothing.

ummm to my knowledge the obd 0 needs alot of voltage thus the resistor box. so if you fry anything it would be the obd 1 injectors because of the resistor box.

obdo needs less voltage thus the RESISTOR box. the resistor box drop the voltage to the injectors.

well your out of ideas anyway so why not take that 10 mins to throw in the obd 0 injectors and see if that works.
