Default 2003 v6 factory alarm

I wanted to know is this factory installed alarm worth keeping or should I get a different alarm installed? (Clifford etc)

Keep the OEM alarm as a backup, get an aftermarket one, [make sure that it has outputs for arming/disarming the OEM one] 94

it depends wat ur lookin cons for oem no shock sensor, less range, no two-way confirmation/paging, some has no hood pinss ... pros of oem no tampering with the car, factory immobillizer part of the security feature ... aftermarket cons some cases eliminates factory warranty from the vehicle manufaturer ... pros longer range, ability to add different sensors and acc like window mods if capable , ability for confirmation/paging (high end alarms) ... a lot of diff ways to look at & im sure others have their own opinions as well.....
