seems the flywheel fits from what part#s i've checked, but clutch kits are differnet, anyone know what i need to make it work?
Im going to say yes. But the throw-out bearing is completely different (hydraulic vs. cable transmissions)
The flywheel will definately work, I know that 100%. Its the same dimensions and size as the '91 flywheel. And I know all D-series clutches had the same contact space sizes from 90-00 (8 3/8'', 212mm or 220mm, i forget which). I am pretty sure it will fit.
I'd get a second opinion, just in case.

this guy is right on the money...
90-2000 flywheel pressure plate and disk are the same.
the throw out bearings are different from cable to hydrolic trannys. thats what makes the part number different on the clutch kit
