That is an SiR lip or an OEM honda lip. That car is not an EG btw. It is a 96-98.

A general chassi code for any 96-00 = EK. But yes, to get more specific, that's an EJ8.

I have the same OEM EG lip and I must say they are very nice. Not to big and not to small. They really compliment the EG front end very well.

EM1 is a 99-00 Civic Si. There is so much mis-information in this thread.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by tihul &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">That is an SiR lip or an OEM honda lip. That car is not an EG btw. It is a 96-98.</TD></TR></TABLE>

tihul is correct.

Wow, so much wrong information

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by JDM-EJ1 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">A general chassi code for any 96-00 = EK. But yes, to get more specific, that's an EJ8.</TD></TR></TABLE>

EK is the general code, but there are no USDM EKs, so now everytime someone makes a thread saying "Ch3ck MaH EK y0!!!" you can correct them.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by vancoland &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">sir lip??....why get so complicated...the car looks like a em1 to me...si lip, side skirts</TD></TR></TABLE>

It's not an Si, it's a 96-98. Take another look at it, it's not an Si lip or even a 99-00 front end. And all 96-00 sideskirts are the same.

Thanks for clearing up the EK business, I didn't know.

And yes, all 96-00 sideskirts are the same.

My first post was edited.

The question is about the lip, not the model code. I Know that is a EJ8.

96-98 front bumpers only have that one big grill in the middle

99-00 front ends have the grill in the middle, along with the two smaller grill-type things on the side of the middle grill...plus the headlights, fenders, and hood are shaped a bit differently
